This is a hands on role and will only suit applicants with previous Powder Coating experience. You will be joining a tight knit team and a work environment that encourages fun and team spirit while achieving accolades.
About the role;
- The execution of duties, programs and actions for the daily/weekly running of West-Coat Powdercoaters so as to meet the requirements of the Customer.
- Front end works including quoting jobs and arranging deliveries and collections.
- Managing a team of 2 painters and ensuring labour utilization is optimal.
- Performing the role of expert in field of Powder Coating for the team.
- Powdercoating critical jobs and helping set-ups.
- Established Stable employer with great working conditions
- Managing maintenance of ovens and machines in house.
- Quality Control – eye for detail
- Monday to Friday and O/T on Saturday
This role has become available after 2001 so there are big shoes to fill (Literally as well). You will receive a handover in regards to the job and also accounting/HR/Sales support. The KPI for this role will be business growth. With the biggest client 50% sales in house, this target should be well achievable for an ambitious individual.
To be considered for this role you must have extensive Powder Coating experience. Management experience is not essential but beneficial. Sand and other abrasive blasting experience will also count. You must have a high attention to detail and be driven to work autonomously. The workshop operates from 7:00am to 4:00pm Mon to Fri and overtime on Sat. You will however, get to decide your own hours including overtime. An incentive plan will be offered once settled in the role.
