We require a Power BI Report Writer/ Business Analyst to analyse business data and processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and translating business requirements into actionable insights. This is achieved through the creation of visually appealing and interactive reports using Power BI, supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives and driving organizational success.

Your duties will include but not limited to the following

  • Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and insights.
  • Gather and analyse business requirements from stakeholders to design effective reporting solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data sources, business processes, and reporting needs.
  • Create data models and establish data relationships to ensure accurate and consistent reporting.
  • Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that solutions meet business goals and deliver value.
  • Develop and implement data validation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Provide training and support to end users on how to effectively use Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Power BI development and business analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand their needs and deliver high-quality reports that drive informed decision-making.
  • Support data queries in relation to the ERP and finding where the issue is coming from.

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience (2-5 years) in developing interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and extract meaningful insights.
  • Solid understanding of business processes and KPIs across various departments.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality and accurate reports.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications in Power BI or business analysis (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) is a plus.
