It drives initiatives and ensures the departments IT infrastructure supports its broader goals. This includes managing the implementation of new technologies and fostering innovation within the department.We are currently seeking experienced and motivated
Power Platform Developers to join a multidisciplinary agile team tasked with the transformation of existing SmartForms to a Power Pages based solution. The SmartForms support critical functions within the department and have external connections to other government agencies.
Power Platform developers will:
- Develop complex forms and workflows based on user stories and business requirements.
- Configure Microsoft Power Platform features, connectors and Dataverse to support data flows between various systems, including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft M365 services and other enterprise services.
- Design and customise the layout, look and feel of the Power Pages solution interface to provide a user-friendly and accessible experience.
- Actively contribute to a multidisciplinary agile project team.
- Maintain and provide input to technical design documentation.
Essential criteria1. Demonstrated experience and skills in the following: Power Pages, including developing and configuring portals that integrate with internal or external services and other data sources using modern authentication and authorisation standards. Power Automate, developing and configuring cloud flows with standard/custom connectors to support complex workflows and approval chains with custom notifications, using data operations to manipulate and apply business logic with robust error handling. Power Pipelines, building and using power pipelines to build and package Microsoft
Power Platform solutions across environments.2. Capability in Power Apps, creating applications to support or extend Microsoft
Power Platform solutions. Skills in Power BI, developing insightful reports and dashboards.3. Knowledge of Dataverse, includes data modelling, building tables, business rules, views, forms and applying security concepts to protect information managed by the solution.4. Familiarity with the Liquid Framework, employing HTML, JavaScript, and CSS to customise Power Pages solutions, ensuring WCAG compliance and accessibility.
Desirable criteria1. Demonstrated experience in the following: Development experience with Microsoft Azure and M365 cloud services and Dataverse API integration, Experience in managing source control, builds and deployments using Azure DevOps Tracking and managing tasks in Azure DevOps or M365 Planner2. Cultural Fit Ability to work in a fast paced, agile, environment. Clearly communicate progress and work item status against agreed deadlines. Have a pragmatic approach and adjust project direction and scope based on new insights and information. Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams.
