Job description

We are seeking a dynamic, outcomes-focused Power Platform Developer to help perform requirement gathering, functional design analysis, solution development and configuration, application support, and delivery of Office 365, Power Platform, Modern SharePoint Framework and Microsoft Teams’ Application in accordance to agreed standards and service levels. This role is a permanent position. About the role Form part of a cross-functional product squad actioning tasks from the product backlog as prioritised by the product owner Inception and Design facilitation workshops to engage with the key business stakeholders to gather, understand and refine business requirements as they pertain to application development Implement solutions and features that adhere to RAC security practices, standards, and guidelines Review system and functional designs of the peers to ensure alignment with RAC Software Engineering standards and practices Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of quality assurance measures in line with RAC Software Engineering quality assurance directives Ensure functional requirements are correctly interpreted and testable against RAC endorsed QA practises, tools and frameworks Create build and release processes and the associated pipelines utilising DevOps principles to automate them from end-to-end Provide operational support for the product through the implementation of monitoring and alerting, actioning alerts raised, and performing on-call duties on a roster Driving continuous improvement within the squad and Group IT, demonstrating a growth mindset and ability to affect improvements to systems and processes Document solutions and product features enabling knowledge sharing and persistence of IP within the product squad and Group IT Advocate and coach others across the organisation in the correct use of the Power Platform in accordance with defined standards and practices

What are we looking for? Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Power Platform or Microsoft Dynamics certifications are desirable Experience in SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 or Power Platform development Dynamics 365 experience is not mandatory but is highly valued Extensive development experience with . NET framework (all flavours) Demonstrated experience with front-end JavaScript frameworks and methodologies is highly regarded Experience with Azure services, architecture and management is advantageous Experience with SQL Server and database concept is desirable
