We’re looking for a skilled Power Worker (Trade Assistant) to permanently join our team located in Maryborough.

Remuneration:
Starting from $85,163 per annum + 12.75% superannuation.

About the role:
As a Power Worker (Trade Assistant), you will be a key contributor to the team, assisting our tradespersons with the construction, maintenance and associated activities on our overhead and underground electrical networks.
About you:
Critical to your success in the roles, is your:

• Well-developed interpersonal communication skills to develop good working relationships with team members and external customers. You must have the ability to identify and understand customer needs.
• Current ‘C’ class open driver licence.
• Availability for call out and emergency work as well as work overtime as required.
• Willingness to travel to surrounding areas from time to time to undertake work.
• Experience in safety observing and an ability to actively identify and implement risk control measures where needed.
• Experience in material and stock handling.
• The ability to safely work at heights.
• Current High Risk Work Licence (forklift, dogman, rigger, EWP

11m, VLC, slewing crane). * Current Heavy Rigid (HR) licence or the ability to obtain one prior to commencing.
You will be required to complete a pre-employment medical as part of the selection process.
