ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking a local Practice Nurse to join our South Hedland Clinic, WA, on a Full-Time or Part-Time basis. Flexible hours are available to suit parents with children.
Reporting directly to the Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the execution of professional and efficient medical services, whilst providing the best quality service to both our internal and external clients.
DUTIES
The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
- High level nursing skills to work autonomously
- Patient triage
- Administering vaccinations and travel consultation
- Monitoring & maintaining stock levels
- Maintenance of all equipment
- Healthcare planning
- Minor procedure assistance
- Compliance with the Department of Health & Human Services Protocols
- General administration duties
- Phlebotomy
- Medical screening including Audiometry, Spirometry & ECG testing
As the successful candidate, you will be a Nurse with current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse together with the following:
- Minimum 2 years’ clinical experience
- Immunisation qualification - desirable
- Phlebotomy qualification - desirable
- Medication endorsed (Enrolled Nurse)
- Current Working With Children Check
- Flexibility to work extra days to cover staff on leave will be highly desirable
