Welcome to EveryMan Australia. We are a not-for-profit organisation primarily focused on supporting men. We also provide support to their partners and families. We specialise in working with men who live with high and complex needs related to drug and alcohol use, mental health conditions, Acquired Brain Injury, intellectual and other disabilities. The men we work with are often involved with the justice system, at risk of homelessness, using violence against partners, family or in the community, or dealing with their own childhood or adult experiences of violence or sexual abuse.
This is a great opportunity for Practitioners to join our award-winning, supportive, creative and tenacious team. We are looking for a qualified practitioner who enjoys the challenge of making a difference in the community and can work sensitively with a diverse client group, with complex needs, within our Counselling Violence Prevention Services Team.
We would love to talk to you if you:
- Are registered Social Worker, Psychologist or Counsellor, or has a related discipline degree.
- Have knowledge and experience working in domestic and family violence practice.
- Have current Working with Vulnerable People card.
As EveryMan works with a broad range of clients from diverse backgrounds, and we are constantly seeking to expand the diversity in our workforce. We understand this enhances further not only our client service capabilities but also our organisation. Therefore, we strongly encourage expressions of interest from:
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
- People with disabilities
- People from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
What can EveryMan offer you?
- Challenging, meaningful work in a highly regarded organisation with a 'can do' attitude
- A collaborative team committed to social justice
Note: This is salary only and does not include 10% employer superannuation.
