We are a proud Tasmanian not-for-profit childcare provider of Long Day Care, Outside School Hours Care and Family Day Care.

We are currently seeking an Pre-Kinder / OSHC 2IC to join our team on a permanent basis. 

In this role you will work directly with the children and your team to create a positive, safe and stimulating environment. Working within the overall values and direction of the organisation, you will have autonomy in developing programs for the children, along with managing a team within your service. You will also have access to training opportunities and mentoring to help you develop your skills.  

To apply, the following is essential:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Employee Working with Vulnerable People Card (WWVP)
  • Current full First Aid 003, CPR 001 and First aid in Education and Care setting 004 certificate (or ability to obtain)
  • Knowledge of the NQF; Education and Care Services National Laws and Regulations, National Quality Standard, Assessment and Rating, Early Years Learning Framework and My Time Our Place learning frameworks
  • Enthusiasm for working with children and a genuine interest in early childhood and school age child development
  • Experience or ability in leading a team
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to understand and embrace the Adventure Patch values and philosophy (which can be found on our website)
