This role is more aligned to one specialist vendors but you may be required to support multiple technologies.The key responsibilities of this role can be summarised as follows:Provide technical solutions expertise to customers and their end users in a consultative sales environment.Co-own and project manage the technical elements of sales opportunities to successful closure.Engage with end users and resellers to help define appropriate multi-technology solutions to meet customer needs.Support internal and external sales teams to deliver technical quotes in line with defined service level agreements (SLA’s).Maintain new and current technical expertise across many technologies, such as data center, virtualization, security, mobility, unified communication, and cloud solutions.Develop and manage customer relationships with appropriate contacts.Conduct customer site visits (reseller and end user).To be successful in this role you will need the following:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science or equivalent experience certifications preferred.High end certifications across security, networking, hardware technologies is preferred.Must have minimum five (5) years of experience in similar role/s / Industry as well as design/ deployment experience.Minimum of one (1) year experience in formal product presentations and/or technical sales training experience.Minimum of five (5) years technical support experience with high-end servers, local area networks, and associated components with at least 1-2 year in Cloud Computing environments.Minimum of one (1) year vendor relations experience in a presales vendor support role.Knowledge of the interoperability of software, peripherals, networking, desktop platforms, applications, standalone and network operating systems, with strong technical abilities in Designing complex Cloud Computing solutions across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, etc. Ability to conduct implementation services would be well regarded.Ability to work autonomously, devise process and manage time and prioritisation.Superior English communications skills and ability to establish strong relationships with internal and external customers/ vendors.An energetic individual with a strong customer focus.Proven ability to work independently, effectively in an off-site environment and under high pressure.What's on offerBesides offering a very competitive remuneration package, we also offer:Great team culture.Hybrid working environmentGreat learning opportunities to grow professionally and personally through dedicated learning platforms, our education assistance program, focused individual development plans and from your co-workers.Opportunities to give back to our community through our partnership with United Way Australia.Work hours flexibility (regardless of age, gender etc.).On-site parking.Paid parental leave scheme including options to ramp up your hours back to your role, a great program that we are especially proud of;Strong reward and recognition programs.Volunteering opportunities as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility focus.If you are seeking a new role or opportunity to further grow your sales and technical skills within an organisation that truly values and embraces individuals from diverse backgrounds regardless of age, gender or other factors, then we look forward to hearing from you soon.What’s In It For You?
