Access Covers Australia was established in 1993 and specialize in the design, engineering, manufacture, and supply of all types of access covers, grating, concrete pits, and precast components to the civil and construction industry.
We have expanded our product mix to include custom Precast Concrete elements in recent years which has provided sales growth throughout the organization and developed our reach throughout Australia.
With unprecedented levels of civil construction planned and already underway, we are looking to further enhance our position within the industry
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We require an energetic self-driven Precast Concrete Foreman to join the Precast Concrete division
The successful candidate would be required to:
- Lead and manage a team of up to 15 Precast Concrete workers, overseeing production, housekeeping, quality, stock control, and safety.
- Supervise all factory employees involved in reinforcement and concrete preparation, placement, finishing, and overall product quality.
- Allocate labor resources effectively throughout the factory to meet daily production goals.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards by conducting quality assurance checks for pre-pour and post-pour activities.
- Delegate tasks to employees, providing guidance and necessary training when needed.
- Maintain discipline among factory staff as required.
- Manage housekeeping activities while ensuring smooth production operations.
- Demonstrate a strong awareness of and adherence to Workplace Health and Safety Requirements.
- Provide Daily reports to the Precast Project Engineer.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
- Proven Experience as a Concrete Foreman
- Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Ability to interpret plans effectively.
- Resolve issues effectively.

- Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays as required.
