Precast Supervisor

A Precasting Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring that precast elements are manufactured to the highest standards and delivered to construction sites efficiently and safely. You are to help streamline civil and construction projects and contribute to the overall success of the construction process. Working with a very experienced team, it would be essential to being open to learn and adapt to new processes. Being an overall coach for the team is the biggest part of the role.
Full time Permant Role Located in Richlands Brisbane QLD Australia.
Please note: Salary is negotiable and depended on experience in the field

• Supervision and Leadership:
• Lead and supervise precasting teams, including mold fabricators, casting operators, and other production staff.

• Provide guidance and training to ensure that team members follow safety protocols and production procedures.

Production Management:

• Oversee the precasting process, from the preparation of molds and forms to the casting of concrete or other materials.
• Monitor and optimize production schedules to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure the use of appropriate materials and techniques to meet quality standards.

Quality Control:

• Implement and enforce quality control procedures to guarantee the integrity and durability of precast elements.
• Conduct inspections of finished products to identify defects and discrepancies, and take corrective actions as necessary.

Logistics and Transportation:

• Coordinate the transportation and delivery of precast elements to construction sites.
• Ensure proper loading and unloading procedures, including securing elements for transportation.

Safety Compliance:

• Promote and enforce safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment and safe operating practices.
• Investigate and report any accidents or incidents, and implement preventive measures.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain records of production volumes, quality control checks, and inventory.
• Generate reports on production progress, issues, and solutions for management.

Equipment and Maintenance:

• Ensure that precasting machinery and equipment are properly maintained and in good working condition.
• Schedule routine maintenance and repairs as needed.

Communication:

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align precasting activities with project requirements.
• Communicate with suppliers and vendors for material procurement.

Qualifications/ Experience:
- Precasting
- Prestressing
- Concreting
- Steel fixing
- Management/supervisor roles in civil and construction trades
MUST have a White Card and Full Drivers Licnese.
