About the Role
"Company, conversations and a catch-up on the news of the day." This is NSW Statewide Drive where a unique opportunity for a presenter, has arisen. The role will see you:
  • Prepare and present distinctive and compelling content that engages local audiences.
  • Develop and distribute new content ideas to achieve strong reach and engagement with audiences.
  • Contribute to the implementation of the Local Emergency Coverage plan and communicate with relevant stakeholders as required.
  • Cross promote other ABC content to increase audience engagement.
About You
As a highly motivated individual with strong program making and presentation skills, a team player, and a proven ability to find, develop and present original and engaging cross-platform stories for the target audience, you will bring:
  • Advanced editorial skills.
  • An understanding of local issues and industry in your local region
  • The ability to develop and make original and engaging audio and cross-platform content for the target audience.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with people from a range of diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated understanding and passion to source and create authentic stories which represent the broad diversity of the Australian community.
