The Opportunity

As a Prevention & Diversion Manager, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategic Policy in relation to people with disability interfacing with the justice system.

The role provides leadership regarding the development of prevention and diversion strategies, fosters positive approaches with the aim of reducing recidivism, and has a lead role in developing and building capacity across the Disability Sector to support people with disability interfacing with the justice system. This will require significant stakeholder engagement both within the Department of Communities and across the Justice system.

There is currently 1 fixed term position available for immediate filling for a period of 5 months, with the possibility of extension or permanency.
