  • Exciting opportunity to manage both Qantas Domestic and International Airlines accurate distribution, maintenance, and support of pricing products a key enabler in the generation of Qantas passenger revenue.

We see it as an opportunity to do something we’ve never done before.As the Price Distribution Lead, you'll oversee a team of analysts who distribute and maintain assigned tariff products within Qantas to boost revenue outcomes. Your responsibilities include ensuring the timely distribution of accurate pricing data, liaising with members across pricing teams to enable seamless delivery of daily workflow, seeking efficiencies in streamlining end to end processes by challenging our current ways of working, discovering and applying new methods of filing to fulfill our distribution needs.Leading a dedicated team, you'll ensure Qantas International and Domestic pricing strategies are implemented seamlessly to achieve collective business objectives. You will collaborate with a range of teams, providing technical guidance and support to various stakeholders including Qantas Loyalty, Sales and Distribution, Airports, Digital and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely distribution of pricing products is provided across the suite of sales distribution channels. The role extends to overseeing projects, driving best practice and standardisation where possible, imparting your technical expertise within the team as well as fostering innovation to maintain our competitive edge.What you’ll bring to the role:
  • 5+ years experience in Fares Distribution-related roles
  • Quantitative tertiary qualifications desired eg Engineering, Economics, Finance, Management Sciences / Operations Research, Commercial Aviation
  • Knowledge of relevant Tariff Distribution systems
  • Working knowledge of procedures for establishing passenger fares and passenger proration methodologies are essential; IATA qualifications or knowledge in tariffs, ticketing and proration would be an asset.
  • Sound knowledge of revenue management, commercial drivers, and airline industry
  • Strong business, influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, creatively, and laterally.
  • Demonstrated people skills including the ability to mentor, coach, and performance manage.
  • Highly motivated/goal orientated, team driven with proven initiative.
  • Focused on requirements of internal and external customers and able to deliver according to Qantas service standards.
  • High levels of personal organisation to be able to manage multiple projects within required time frames and deadlines.
