This position is responsible for accurately creating, maintaining, and reviewing master data in SG Fleet systems – this is inclusive of vehicle pricing & data from our third-party providers, and other pricing related tasks to enable effective quote & order processes take place. In addition, this role is responsible for producing commercial pricing initiatives, sourcing of vehicle discounts, providing mass quotations and completing mid lease changes. This position is to assist in the development of robust data validation practices to ensure accuracy, quality and completeness of vehicle and Pricing Data.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES…
The major responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Review and maintain the relevant fields of Master Data in SG Fleet operating systems
- Maintain and monitor SG Fleet Pricing modules. This includes implementing updates in operating systems as well as developing relevant tools outside.
- Assist in the auditing of tools that sit outside SG Fleet operating systems, as well as monitoring customer specific requirements ensuring they comply with business rules.
- Analyze and report on existing pricing methodologies and structures, provide insight into continuous improvement
- Assist in completing timely, accurate mass quotations, as well as the loading of sale and leasebacks, fleet takeovers, and assist in the tender process for new vehicles
- Complete timely reviews and manage changes to calculations and pricing, ensuring the system will produce accurate costings for the make/model data, leasing services costs & mid lease changes
- Strong technical/numerical skills - ability to work with, understand and analyses financial data
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including advanced Excel: spreadsheets, Visual Basic
- Strong organizational and prioritisation skills – ability to work within tight timeframes and reports regularly on progress
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills – ability to take ownership and follow up issues through to resolution in a timely and effective manner
- Effective communicator both verbally & in writing, demonstrating good listening and probing skills
- Critically analyses information and solves problems, demonstrating resourcefulness, perseverance, and accountability
