The Pricing Manager will be responsible for effective management of the pricing stream including dealer and digital retail channels, wholesale pricing and commission pricing, as well as campaign & promotion pricing management.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of pricing strategy and support its implementation.
- Develop and implement best practice pricing models including margins, risk grades, market input.
- Establish strategic measurement frameworks, metrics and data sourcing solutions for dealer commission and dealership financing.
- Partner with stakeholders, including within Sales, Finance, Operations and Wholesale, to ensure profit and key metric outcomes are clearly understood for proposals developed for approval.
- Design and perform pricing analysis and modelling to inform pricing decisions and recommendations
- Develop pricing governance framework and ensure adherence to all governance frameworks relevant to the pricing process.
- Attend Pricing committee alongside Head of FP&A to provide support and analysis.
Campaign and Promotion Management
- Ownership of the campaign and promotion pricing models, ensuring accuracy and best practice frameworks.
- Ensure adherence to the campaign pricing governance framework relevant to the pricing review and approval process.
- Design user guides and develop self-service for model use within Sales.
- Provide subvention calculations using the model and liaise with the relevant business for model input e.g., return hurdles.
- Post implementation reviews of material campaigns and feedback for Sales on “successful vs unsuccessful” campaigns.
Who are you?
- Advanced mathematical and financial modelling skills to be able to drive and clearly communicate financial outcomes of product pricing including ROE/ IRR/ NPV calculations.
- Automotive Retail Finance industry experience is highly desirable or in the Financial Services, Banking, Automotive and/or Fleet Management industries would be welcomed.
- Bachelor qualifications applicable to Business, Finance, Commerce, Accounting or Actuarial Science.
- Advance presentation skills with the ability to present in meeting settings.
- Advanced skills in MS Office Suite; expert in MS Excel with experience in Power BI highly favourable.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholders.
- Full Australian working rights & fluent English skills
