- Facilitate small group instruction sessions focused on literacy and numeracy, employing research-based instructional strategies and resources to promote student learning and engagement.
- Regularly monitor and track students' progress in literacy and numeracy skills, using assessment data to adjust instruction and provide timely feedback to students and their families.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, other support staff and parents to coordinate interventions and support efforts, sharing insights and strategies to best meet the needs of students.
- Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay abreast of best practices in literacy and numeracy instruction, continually refining and enhancing teaching strategies and techniques.
- Analyse assessment data and other relevant information to identify trends and patterns in student performance, using data-driven decision-making to inform instructional planning and intervention strategies.
- Advocate for the needs of students with literacy and numeracy challenges, collaborating with school leadership and support teams to ensure that all students have access to the resources and support they
- Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Must have a valid and up-to-date VIT registration
- Demonstrate previous experience in Primary teaching in Australia
- Experience working with a Catholic school advantageous
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
- Start in late Term 2 or the beginning of Term 3
