About you
As a Physical Education (PE) Teacher, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.
To be successful in this role, you must:
- demonstrate experience in planning and organising Swimming and Athletics Carnivals
- create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of student
- have a sound knowledge in developing a K-6 Curriculum, particularly NESA PDHPE Syllabus and the application of effective learning pedagogies
- utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
- employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
- support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
- demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
- integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.
You will have attained:
- a tertiary qualification in Education
- eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- an Employee ID registration number with Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) or a commitment to Register to Teach in SCS.
