Salary: $101,478 per annum/ pro rata
Hours/Employment Status: Full Time 6 month contract to 31/12/2024
The Family Safety & Social Services (FS&SS) Division includes a variety of programs including Tangentyere Family Violence Prevention Program (FVPP) under which sits the Men’s Behaviour Change Program (MBCP), Domestic Violence Specialist Children’s Service (DVSCS), Strong Families Program and the Tangentyere Women’s Family Safety Group (TWFSG).
Tangentyere Council is committed to continuous quality improvement and culturally safe practice in supporting children and their families. This includes a determination to improve outcomes for children and families that are experiencing risk and multiple challenges to their wellbeing through the provision of quality services within the FS&SS Division.
The Primary Prevention Specialist Worker will sit within the TWFSG and project manage and co-facilitate the Young Women’s Group. The successful applicant will support the Young Women’s Group to codesign, implement, and monitor initiatives that aim to address the underlying drivers of Family, Domestic & Sexual Violence.
