Qualifications & experience
** Teachers: Primary Teaching/Education Qualification.
We offer quality teachers opportunities to teach students in personal, engaging sessions in their areas of expertise.
Teachers will be skilled in:
- Applying knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.
- Using student data to inform planning that targets students' needs and interests
- Planning and implementing personalised and differentiated approach to the curriculum
- Demonstrating commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents /carers and the wider community.
**All roles are classified as child-related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Facilitator of small focus group sessions {after school hours}
- Facilitator of 1:1 Private Intensive sessions {after school hours}
- Teacher is to incorporate assessment, teaching and learning experiences into engaging sessions designed to meet student academic needs whilst considering student's social and emotional needs.
- Teacher ensures academic gaps are identified and addressed, learning needs are catered for whilst students are challenged and positive work habits are promoted in a high-support, low-pressure learning environment.
- Teacher maintains record-keeping and communication in line with Bright Sparks guidelines.
