Are you ready to make a positive impact on young minds and join a vibrant school community? South Coast Baptist College is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic educator for a Long Service Leave contract position in our Primary School for Term 3, 2024. This is your chance to inspire and educate our Year 6 students!
Position Requirements:
- Hold a valid teaching qualification and registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia, demonstrating a strong understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum, particularly for Year 6.
- Have experience in planning and delivering high-quality educational programs, with a focus on English, Mathematics, Science, HASS, and the Arts.
- Possess excellent classroom management skills, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of students.
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, effectively collaborating with colleagues, parents, and the broader school community.
- Show a commitment to the values and ethos of an independent/private school, along with the ability to inspire and engage students in their learning.
Essential Criteria:
- To have a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.
- To actively be a part of a Church or Christian community and exemplify Christian beliefs, behaviour, and practices.
- To accept the College’s Statement of Faith.
- Build co-operative and supportive relationships with the board, principal, staff, students and parents.
- Work to ensure personal best practice.
- Ensure that decision making is based on fact and is impartial and fair.
- Model the use of appropriate and proper channels of communication.
- Always act in the best interest of the College and its ethos.
- Adhering to all policies and procedures outlined by SCBC.
- First Aid certificate is desirable.
- Working With Children Card.
