Positions available - Junior School Teacher (Carbrook), Relief Pool P-12 (Carbrook and Springwood).

As a Learning Designer (teacher), your responsibilities centre upon planning, preparing and delivering effective learning programs to unleash the potential of our students. As a teacher, you will:
- Reflect the College’s inquiry based approach to exceptional learning in everyday practice.
- Plan, prepare and deliver quality learning experiences in line with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
- Maintain competency and a current knowledge of relevant curriculum programs.
- Create supportive learning environments and effective behaviour management practices.
- Provide for the physical, social, cultural and emotional wellbeing and safety of students while at the College and assist students in becoming effective leaders within their community.
- Assess students for developmental, feedback and reporting purposes.
- Maintain student records and samples of work and report on student performance to students, parents, the department and other stakeholders as required.
- Participate in the collaborative development and evaluation of the curriculum and regularly monitor, through observation and evaluation, the effectiveness of the teaching program.
- Participate in co-curricular activities, school decision-making processes and professional development.
- Establish and maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships between the school and the community.
- All teachers at Calvary are expected to plan, prepare, and deliver devotions as part of the College’s formation program.
- Queensland College of Teachers registration (or equivalent)
- Demonstrated teaching competence and application of relevant curriculum and contemporary pedagogy.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and capacity to develop productive relationships.
- Ability to use analytical skills and innovation to improve outcomes for students.
- Outline how your Christian faith has shaped and influenced your professional/work life.
These roles are based across our Springwood and Carbrook Campuses.
