ROLE SUMMARY:Working with the Schools experienced senior leadership team, we are seeking a capable and motivated Early Learning School Principal to lead and oversee the day to day operations of the Early Learning Centre at our campus in Woollahra. They will be also responsible for establishing a culture that fosters collaboration amongst educators and support staff, parents and community leaders.
At Reddam Early Learning Schools our Early Learning environment has been created, first and foremost, with a focus on nurturing the children in a warm, caring and loving atmosphere. To enhance this experience and make it as rewarding as possible, the Principal ensures the delivery of a stimulating and imaginative learning programme that caters for both toddlers and pre-school children, in order to lay down a unique educational foundation that can be supported and developed in their subsequent years at Reddam.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Responsible for the planning, preparation and implementation of the programme, based on the National Early Year Learning Framework.
- Support an atmosphere and learning climate of play, nurturing, respect and love.
- Foster a harmonious working environment for staff within Reddam ELS
- Responsible for the development and implementation of Reddam’s curriculum and policies
- Implement procedures for teachers to assess children, evaluate progress and report regularly to parents.
- Foster positive relationships with children, staff and families.
- Participate in an on-going, professional growth and appraisal programme.
- Ensure engaging learning as well as physical safety and emotional well-being for children.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining appropriate records for each child.
- Responsible for generating enrolments and maintenance of occupancy.
- Genuine enthusiasm and passion for the profession, and a strong commitment to high quality care.
- Tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood. Previous experience in childhood education (minimum 7 years).
- Good understanding ACECQA and the national framework of education. Good written skills and exposure to use of web and emails.
- Solid experience in providing support and solutions in a teaching environment.

- Working with children check or the ability to secure one.
