The role
Support the development and enhancement of Origin’s ERP systems. These systems are key mission critical applications that support Origin’s business process across Finance, Procurement, Asset Maintenance and Supply Chain. This role focuses on the ERP Finance processes with an emphasis on, but not limited to, Accounts Payable (including Vendor Invoice Management and Concur), Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Banking services, General Ledger, Project Systems, Time sheeting (CATS), Asset Accounting, Joint Venture Accounting, HCM and Group Reporting.
Design, develop and test solutions for solving operational issues, enhancements, and incident response challenges.
Why the role matters
- Support the development and execution of Origin’s ERP application with design, develop and test solutions for solving operations issues, enhancements, and incident response challenges.
- Assist in implementation of build and deployment enhancement pipelines and Proactive identification of business process improvements.
- Undertake business process engineering and assist the business with development of procedures.
- Work with IT, the business and external vendors to develop effective and efficient system solutions for business requirements, while maximising the benefits of Origin Energy’s SAP systems.
- Perform Scrummaster tasks such as facilitating scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, daily stand-ups and removing impediments to the team's progress.
- Provide governance over the changes deployed to ensure minimal business disruptions and quality assurance.
- A tertiary qualification in business or an equivalent discipline.
- Extensive experience as a Senior Functional Analyst or equivalent supporting SAP S/4HANA.
- Certification in SAP S/4 HANA Finance.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment strategies Comprehensive knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance Systems processes with a focus on the following - Accounts Payable (including Vendor Invoice Management), Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Banking services, General Ledger, Project Systems, Time sheeting (CATS) and Group Reporting.
- Passionate and interested in ERP in the energy industry and a good understanding of global standards and best practice.
- Strong worked experience in ITIL support processes and Agile delivery.
- Excellent written and verbal communications and customer service focus.
- Excellent ability to undertake problem resolution and enhancements using IT procedures based on development lifecycle principles.
- Strong worked experience in Agile processes.
