- Manages and provides specialist/functional expertise on mental Health and psychosocial to uplift organisational capability in mental Health and psychosocial risk management.
- Makes evidence based and strategic decisions in alignment with our mental health strategy and longer term business objectives to keep our workforce safe and free from harm.
- Identifies, engages and manages a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Provides subject matter advice and support and guidance to leaders on job redesign and other psychosocial interventions.
- Designs evidence based psychosocial controls to prevent and mitigate further harm.
- Designs and implements governance and assurance practices and Management of Change procedures to control value outcomes across BHP.
- Identifies and assesses risks, makes risk informed decisions, uses BHP's risk management framework and builds a risk aware culture to support safe and productive performance outcomes.
- Cleanses and analyses data from a variety of sources to help inform strategy, interventions and initiatives.
- Plans, tracks the delivery of and manages a project to generate value and drive the achievement of project outcomes.
- Sources information, plans and conducts analyses to support evidence based decision making.
- Engages the capabilities of the entire organisation.

- Knows our customer and is obsessed with meeting their needs using evidence based principles to deliver.
- Registered Psychologist with preferably a Masters degree or PHD in Psychology, preferably Organisational Psychology. OR at minimum eligible as a psychologist with APHRA or registration body in relevant country or location.
- Experience in the resource sector preferred.
- At least 5 to 8 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a global organization.
- Experience in Psychosocial risk methodology and the identification, evaluation and design and measurement of controls.
- Deep subject matter expert in psychosocial and job deign interventions.
- A passion for using data to make decisions with significant experience in designing and validating psychometrics and in data analysis in SPPS, R, Minitab or Power BI.
- Ability to provide specialist expertise regarding psychological and psychosocial interventions and design of mental health strategy.
