An opportunity has become available for multiple Principal House Officers (Critical Care ? Clinical Response Unit) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Manage urgent and emergent issues in the Short Stay/post-operative care unit assisting the nursing staff
Join the junior doctor roster participating in day, after-hours and night roster as required
Provide and perform clinical and non-clinical support as required under supervision of an ICU Consultant while acquiring knowledge and skills relevant to management of ICU patients
Take consults from surgical services regarding management of their patient's medical issues
See patients and can discuss assessments and management decisions with the Perioperative medical consultant
Communicate effectively with clinical
