 Your Role 

As an International Trade and Compliance Analyst (ITC Analyst), you will develop and manage export and import controls to ensure compliance with US and foreign regulations. You will establish processes for obtaining necessary licences, permits, and certifications, and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies.  

Your role includes conducting reviews for technical data, foreign travel, and shipments, supporting compliance investigations, maintaining trade records, and establishing training and audit programmes. Additionally, you will generate performance metrics, manage export control operations, stay updated on regulations, support programmes and personnel, manage records, prepare reports, and participate in cross-functional projects. The ability to travel periodically is essential for this role. 

About You 

You are passionate about international Trade Compliance and thrive in dynamic, challenging environments. With a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience, you have demonstrated expertise in a similar role and possess a deep understanding of Australian, US, and international export and import regulations. Experience in defence or tertiary education is essential to your success. You excel at interpreting and providing guidance on these regulations and have experience in licensing commodities, technical data, and defence services.  

Your strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to influence others are complemented by your attention to detail and proven written and verbal communication abilities. You are effective at interacting with all levels of the organisation and can work independently in a remote location while maintaining strong communication with your team and manager. If you are detail-oriented, have excellent interpersonal skills, and are ready to take on a diverse portfolio of programmes, products, and services within varied export compliance scenarios, we want you on our team.
