Job description
The main objective of this function is to support Cyient organization to meet the following goals:
· Drive new Networks business in close cooperation with sales.
· Position Cyient higher in the value chain of the telecom industry with a focus on Australian/ New Zealand (APAC) market.
· Portfolio development of telecom network services.
· Ability to mobilize telecom strategic projects – Carrier and Enterprise Market
General responsibilities
- Domain Understanding
- Understanding of Communications domain from an Enterprise domains (Utilities, Mining, Automotive, Transportation) perspective in addition to Telco Enterprise Business knowhow
- Should have strong relationships with C4E domain business across Australia & New Zealand
- Should posses’ skill to build local partnership ecosystem and develop/grow business?
- Should be able to conduct workshops with C4E and Telco Customers from a business development perspective.
- Should be able to identify and grown business at Australia and New Zealand at C4E markets
- Should have worked in communication domains supporting C4E from a managed services market strategy
- Strong experience in Design, Integration or Operations delivery services to Telco operators
- Strong experience in technical sales of complex solutions,
Portfolio development
- Actively define offer and develop Networks Services Portfolio
- Evaluate and develop technology partnerships with relevant players in the market
- To be able to conduct roadshows and collaborate in Australian Telco and Enterprise Market
Solution architecture/ Technical sales
- Promote strategic consulting projects inTelecom networks.
- Provide technical support to Sales activities, develop integrated solutions, prepare business cases and proposals for new Networks projects/ RFQs.
- Interface with other Cyient stakeholders to gather technical support for proposals preparation and RFQ responses.
Transition and Transformation
- Interface Delivery stakeholders to provide all information required to setup new projects.
- Lead transition of strategic projects and handover once BAU
- Ensure that project delivery is tracked and customer warm relationships maintained
Asia Pac detailed responsibilities
- Customer front ending with Sales & Account mapping.
- Perform assessment and opportunity gap identification.
- Support Go to market (GTM) strategy.
- Provide expert support in Cyient network portfolio solution.
- Technology-based POC creation
- Tools and frameworks analysis
Requirements
- Proven experience with more than 15 years’ experience intelecom infrastructure transformation programmes in the following areas:
- Deep understanding of Traditional RAN networks (4G / 5G) OPEN RAN architecture in Operator and private networks scenarios
- Good understanding of Transmission/ IP network architectures
- Good Knowledge of OSS architectures, protocols, and standards, including TM Forum's Frameworx and eTOM frameworks applied to service management fulfilment and assurance domains.
- Strong experience in Design, Integration or Operations delivery services to Telco operators
- Strong experience in technical sales of complex solutions,
- Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods (PMP certification is a plus)
- Excellent knowledge of MS office
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English.
- A bachelor’s degree in telco or IT engineering field and Masters in Marketing.
