They oversee customer platform operations, including customer management, self-service functionalities, statements, invoices, and Billing. The team is currently focusing on transformative initiatives for CRM and Billing systems, where the Principal Solution Architect plays a crucial role. This role provides technical leadership, aligning technology solutions with Transurban's strategic pillars: Customer Advocacy, Future Platforms, Protection (of customers and assets), and Operational Methods (Lean start-up mindset, Human-centered design, Agile principles, Enterprise technology, and architecture principles).As the Principal Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in leading tech initiatives and shaping the future of our business through technology.Day-to-day, you will:Work closely with our Enterprise Architecture team, you will shape the execution roadmap that aligns to our Enterprise Architecture strategy.Offering technical leadership and consultancy, streamlining Solution Architecture and operational processesProvide best-in-class Solutions Architecture and operational practices across the Customer Value chainProvide valuable technology guidance to General Managers, Heads of Technology, Delivery Managers, and other stakeholders impacted by tech decisionsDelivery and maintenance of essential Solution Architecture elements, such as Domain Technology Strategies, Architecture Blueprints, Patterns, and Models, ensuring their maintenanceAnalyse requirements and translate these into “fit for purpose” and crafting robust solutions that meet business and technology needsCollaborating to deliver these solutions while overseeing risk, time, cost-effectiveness, and ensuring high-quality deliverablesThis role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:At least 10+ years of experience in Information Technology with experience in technical leadership roles (Solutions Architecture and/or Application Architecture; Software EngineeringThe ability to define and drive complex initiatives/projects, maintaining a balance between time to market, usability, and incurring appropriate technical debtExperience in defining and implementing solutions for large-scale production environmentsStrong troubleshooting skills and creative problem-solving abilityExperience with: Salesforce, AWS Cloud, Mulesoft, SaSS based Billing PlatformsProven experience of designing, building, and operationalising applications and respective integration platformsDemonstrate a deep understanding of agile ways of working, showcasing their ability to foster collaborative, customer-centric environments, fostering a culture of continuous improvementIf you meet some of these requirements, but not all, we encourage you to submit your application.
