This role is to support cloud services and infrastructure integration and improvement activities, by providing ICT technical advice and expertise integrating cloud (Azure / AWS) and traditional on-premises technologies (compute, storage and network infrastructure) with business systems.
- Participate in and / or lead the planning and implementation of new business application and core system integration projects in alignment with requirements
- Provide technical advice during the design phase of new cloud integration projects and infrastructure planning initiatives
- Champion identity integration initiatives against QCS' strategic objectives
- Identify and participate in the resolution of application and system integration issues
- Identify, design, and develop integration solutions on QCS' existing cloud platforms; Microsoft 365 + Azure, and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Develop and assess application / system integration monitoring metrics against business application availability and Disaster Recovery requirements
- Assist with identifying and realising business process improvements through the development and implementation of system integration initiatives
- Continually assess existing systems' integrations against industry and security best practices and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
- Research and make recommendations on application and system integration solutions
- Support development teams' system integration requirements as needed
- Manage collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders and external technology vendors to develop and implement the required changes to ICT infrastructure
- Lead and manage staff as required and directed
