About the role:

We have a 12 months fixed-term opportunity for a Principal Transformation PMO. As part of our Transformation Office this role will lead the coordination of the transformation portfolio, ensuring the overall portfolio delivers its objectives. Leads the management and coordination of inter-dependencies, enabling issue resolution and escalating/handling any other challenges/risks.

Key skills and experience:

There are a few things that we'll look for in your CV:

You will have a degree in Business or related discipline, along with substantial experience in portfolio/program management and reporting of large-scale and complex multidisciplinary programs. You will demonstrate extensive experience in developing and applying various portfolio/program methodologies, monitoring and reporting tools and techniques, with advanced program and project management and stakeholder engagement skills.

What the role will involve:

  • Define and maintain the Transformation governance framework and controls for the transformation portfolio, ensure key monitoring and controls procedures are in place, including tolerance levels and escalations.
  • Develop standards, processes, templates and working with the business to uplift capability to set Transformation initiatives up for success. This could include conducting training focused on timeline and milestone development, rigour testing, exception-based reporting, etc.
  • Provide expertise and support to Executive Sponsors, Initiative Owners and Delivery Leads throughout the portfolio lifecycle.
  • Support the business (Program / Project Owners and Leads) with the development to approval of program and project business cases, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality documents. This includes working with the business to develop a clear line of sight from problem statements to outcomes, benefits, capability uplifts.
  • Develop guidelines for business case estimation and validation, including driving the development and implementation of benefits framework.
