Form of workIBS have an excellent opportunity for a fulltime Guillotine & Finishing Operator to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Operating and maintaining guillotining equipment, guillotining work within an efficient and productive workflow, commercial bindery and folding work and other general tasks and duties
1. Guillotining B2 & B3 sheets off our Heidelberg Speedmaster XL75 & Digital Fleet of KM's
2. You will be operating the ITOH or POLAR guillotines and other finishing machinery according to the safe operating procedures to finish print runs as efficiently as possible to meet daily production schedules and within the specified estimated dispatch time frame.
3. You will be operating a Horizon Folder with a new Stahl Folder TH
4. You will be also at times operating an Autobond Cello Machine.
5. You will be operating our Duplo DBM Saddle Stitch Booklet Binder
6. You will also be conducting and reporting on regular machine maintenance and repairs of the finishing equipment to company schedules, procedures and specifications.
Applicants for this position should:
• Have relevant qualifications (Print Finishing) or extensive years of experience
• Proven experience on the Guillotine and cutting similar ganged work to what IBS Produces.
• Proven experience on folding machinery, specifically Horizon and Stahl Folders.
• Competent understanding of paper handling and various bindery techniques
