About the role
Prison officers are essential to the operation of the prison and play a key part in the success of our rehabilitation programs. Your work will be dynamic, and every day will be different. You will:

- Support prisoner rehabilitation through case management
- Protect the safety and security of staff and prisoners

Eligibility
- You need to be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or hold Australian permanent residency.
- You must hold an Australian driver's licence (minimum P2).

$5,000 sign-on bonus
New Prison Officers are now eligible for a bonus of up to $5,000. The incentive is designed to attract the best new Prison Officers and encourage you to explore all aspects of the role. Six months after commencing, you will receive a payment of $2,500. Then, after one year’s full-time employment, you will receive an additional payment of $2,500. Conditions apply.
