Porsche Retail Group Australia is recruiting a full time Privacy, Risk & Controls Specialist which will be based at our Australian Head Office located in Collingwood.
Reporting to the Privacy, Risk & Controls Manager, this role is responsible for supporting the corporate governance; privacy management; risk management and internal control functions, including management of the Porsche Privacy Management System (PPMS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise the business on all topics privacy related, including new developments, compliance, regulatory requirements and best practices
- Maintain, update, and continuously improve Porsche's Privacy Management System
- Assist in identifying and implementing measures to address privacy risks
- Identify and integrate local legal requirements for privacy into the Privacy Management System
- Partner with Headquarters in Germany on company directives and joint activities related to privacy
- Maintain and further develop Porsche's governance framework of directives, policies and procedures
- Facilitate the implementation and rollout of the new risk management and internal controls system
- Further develop the process to monitor and assess current risks
- Coordination and monitoring of Compliance Management systems
- Create a local Risk Map and assessment tool in cooperation with the management team
- Support the facilitation of staff training on the Privacy Management System as well as the new Risk Management and Internal Controls System
Education, Skills & Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in compliance, risk management and/or privacy preferred
- Expected 3-5 years experience in supporting organisations in Governance, Risk, Compliance and/or Privacy related roles
- Understanding of the controls and documentation required around personal data from a regulatory & compliance perspective
- Knowledge of Australian Standards / Act Compliance
- Ability to implement and set standards, policies and processes within the company
- Experienced in risk management, corporate governance, and internal control systems
- Effective relationship building/management across all levels
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and report writing skills
- Clear and confident communications both written and verbal
- Creative problem-solving capabilities
