An exciting opportunity has arisen within our team for a self-sufficient and motivatedProcess Engineer to join the Mincore team. Reporting to one of the Project Managers in our business,:
- You will review and confirm design for Feasibility Studies and provide Metallurgical information.
- Prepare process and Identification flow diagrams
- Prepare Mass and Energy balance
- Prepare process description
- Determine equipment operating envelopes
- Preparation of Process specifications and data sheets for all new equipment and also provide collation of existing equipment providing improvement to clients
- Preparation and review of documentation for the plant process control philosophy experience
- Conduct engineering studies, designs and calculations.
- Engage with and present solutions to clients.
- Prepare and present project status reports internally and to clients.
- Adhere to engineering design standards and recommended practices.
- Perform functional specification documentation.
- Documentation of Commissioning Test Plans, HAZOP, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessment (RA) and mitigation.
- Assisting in procurement, vendor RFQ and scheduling.
- Capital projects of various scales from design to commissioning phase.
- Site Visits as required.
Most importantly you will have previous experience in the review of engineering designs to ensure that the product quality parameters can be met and that the facilities can be operated and maintained with the proposed operating personnel level - linking the design to the practical operation of the plant
As part of a project team, you will also be involved in project management; to provide detailed project plans to ensure the delivery of projects within specific time and budget constraints.
Qualifications
Bachelor or higher degree in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering
Requirements
- 7 - 10 years' experience working on mineral processing projects
- Previous experience in FEED
- Experience in gold, base metals and materials.
Proven experience in working with multiple disciplines including Electrical, Mechanical and Civil engineering as well as with Drafting and Estimation would be considered a definite advantage.

About You

- Minimum 7 years' experience working on mineral processing projects
- Experience in gold, base metals and materials.
- Proven work experience in Process Engineering.
- An ability to lead client meetings presenting proposals, solutions and investments required.
- Site based experience is a definite advantage.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- High-level planning, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously under pressure.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office suite.
