SalaryOur client, a leading mechanical engineering company who develop bespoke sheet metal solutions for the industrial, pharmaceutical and food and beverage industry, is currently seeking a Process Engineer to join their team based in Sydney.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for construction projects.
- Conduct process analysis and simulations to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Create and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with engineers/drafters to ensure manufacturability of new products and designs.
- Implement process control strategies to maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
- Troubleshoot process-related issues and provide technical support to the production team.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Process Engineering within construction of pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and industrial projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
- Experience with CNC machinery and sheet metal fabrication equipment is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
