AddressOur client, a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company, based in the Western suburbs of Brisbane are seeking a Process Improvement Engineer to join their maintenance team on a temporary basis for 6-9 months.
As a Process Improvement Engineer, you will assist the Operational Excellence Manage in pinpointing and executing process enhancement tactics. You will collaborate closing with departmental leaders to refine the operations excellence framework by identifying and eliminating inefficiencies using lean methodologies.
PLEASE NOTE: Applicants will be required to undertake a full medical assessment; drug screening and police check to be eligible for this role.
Duties:
- Collaborate with site managers to develop Operational Excellence plans aligned with the site’s strategies
- Analyse intricate data and business processes to identify improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts to implement improvement initiatives focusing on safety, quality, cost and delivery
- Identifying training requirements and delivering instructions on operational excellence methodologies and Lean/Six Sigma principles to various site teams and departments.
- Coaching and mentoring site leadership, project managers and team members on operational excellence tools, practices, project and change management.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Experience working in a GMP environment
- Green Belt or higher in Operational Excellence to include lean manufacturing and Six Sigma
- 5 years’ experience executing Process Improvement and implementation projects
- SAP and Power Bi experience highly desirable
