Millers Foods are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic process worker to join our team!
About the role:
An excellent opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, motivated and hard working process worker. You are expected to be capable of working independently and with a variety of staff so good communication skills are necessary.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Safely operate various production and plant machinery.
- Monitor machinery performance and maintain optimum level of plant efficiencies as per technical procedures.
- Complete all records and documentation as per Instruction.
- Monitor and report on unsafe work practices or working conditions.
- Carry out general maintenance as required.
- Lifting and tipping bags up to 25kg.
- General cleaning.
- willingness to work a variety of shifts.
- Other duties as instructed by supervisor.
About you – Skills and experience:
- Satisfactory completion of year 10 education.
- Demonstrated competency with plant and/or production processing as mixer operator or similar position.
- Commitment to a safe working environment.
- Demonstrated competency with literary and numeracy.
- Able to work with limited supervision.
- Able to handle physical and manual labour requirements of the position.
