Position: Assistant Machine Operator
Location: Canning Vale, WA
Pay Rate: $28.35 permanent hourly rate, OT after 35 hours worked each week

The Role:
As an Assistant Machine Operator, you will play a pivotal role in the optimal running, monitoring, and troubleshooting of plant and equipment within our client's paper making operations. This entails tasks in gluing machines, SR packing machines, quality control, and loading/finishing processes, ensuring top-notch production standards. Your contribution is essential in maximizing efficiency while maintaining a robust safety focus and developing standards and policies accordingly.
- Running and monitoring paper-making machinery
- Troubleshooting and maintaining equipment, including winding and finishing processes
- Quality control of the final product
- Operation of the recycled fibre plant (RCF) and Distributed Control System (DCS)
- Labouring and manual handling (this is a technical role, but we are looking for someone willing to pick up a broom and keep their work space clean!)
Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday between 4am to 2:30pm
- Saturday Overtime as needed
