Mandalay Resources Costerfield Operation is 50km east of Bendigo. Bendigo is a vibrant city and home to approximately 120,000 residents. Bendigo has an impressive mining history and boasts a thriving arts and cultural precinct.

About The Role
  
If you have always been keen on mining processing and have Supervisor experience, but don’t like the idea of FIFO, then this opportunity will uncover a whole new journey for you!
We are looking for motivated experienced Processing Shift supervisor.  Reporting to the Processing Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering the production plan safely and on-budget by scheduling and assigning work to team members, establishing priorities, revising schedules, resolving problems and reporting results
• Developing team capability by coaching and mentoring
• Delivering accurate and on-time shift reports
• Maintaining safe and clean work environments in line with policies and procedures
• Conduct incident investigations, daily pre-start meetings and participate in risk identification
• Address individual and team issues by identifying solutions and recommending action in conjunction with the appropriate stakeholders (when required).

About You

  
Our newProcessing Shift Supervisor will have the following experience, skills and abilities:

• Commitment to safe and sustainable mining operations;
• 5+ years direct experience in Processing Operations and a minimum of 3 years in direct supervisory roles, particularly in crushing circuit, grinding, flotation, reagent mixing and Filter press.
• Knowledge of VIC mine regulations and production best practice;
• Experience with production processing systems;
• Ability to manage and motivate processing crews;
• Ability to provide mentoring support to team members and colleagues; and
• Personal drive and energy to contribute to our dynamic workplace culture
