Procurement Category Manager - Facilities Services
Global Facilities Services company have a newly created role for a Procurement Category Manager to join their team in Perth.
Having just secured an exciting new contract, they are looking for someone with Project experience to set up the supply chain for this project. Therefore, you must have previous experience in full end to end procurement of goods and services.
Based in the Eastern Suburbs, your main duties will involve:
- Establishing the supply chain management of key category contracts.
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with key suppliers.
- Driving compliance with responsible procurement strategies.
- Actively managing vendor performance.
- Review and enhance the approach to supply chain audits.
- Collaborate with and lead cross-functional project teams to ensure procurement strategies align with corporate objectives.
- Develop long-term value generation and risk mitigation strategies.
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business, supply chain, procurement, etc.)
- Experience in Project Procurement
- Demonstrable experience in procurement and category management roles
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Knowledge of relevant industry trends and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and levels within the organisation
This role offers a salary in the region of $150k + super and is based in Perth Eastern Suburbs with work from home available.
