About Us Serco has a dedicated team of over 600 people supporting operations at Fiona Stanley Hospital and works in close partnership with the hospital leadership, WA Health, clinicians, and staff to deliver essential non-clinical facilities management, ICT and HR managed services. Our specialist team designs, manages and optimises the integrated services and are critical to the ongoing delivery of clinical services in Western Australia's largest and most digitally enabled public healthcare facility. About the Role The Procurement Category Specialist - ICT is responsible for the end-to-end procurement for Serco's ICT portfolio at Fiona Stanley Hospital, Murdoch, WA. The role will coordinate and deliver sourcing and contract management activities, ensuring value for Serco and its stakeholders. The role will require regular engagements with internal stakeholders (primarily ICT team members) and Fiona Stanley Hospital representative(s) to perform strategic sourcing activities, develop contracts and establish contract performance management per the contract life cycle. In addition to the above, the role is expected to perform tasks such as renewal of existing ICT maintenance agreements, contract variations and associated administrative tasks. The Procurement Category Specialist will support the Category and Contract Lead in effective supplier relationship management, dispute resolution, and subcontractor performance management, focusing on driving contract management excellence within the portfolio and minimising risk for Serco and its stakeholders.Key Responsibilities Include:• Conduct sourcing activities, contract management including renewals, variations and contract performance management, and dispute resolution;• Collaborative engagement with ICT team members and stakeholders in relation to their technology requirements and identifying opportunities to leverage scale;• Proactively reviewing existing ICT contracts and identifying opportunities;• Supplier relationship management;• Applying category management principles;• Collaborate with Legal to develop, negotiate, implement, and manage contracts;• Liaise with internal customers/stakeholders including ICT operational teams; and• Monitors and ensures compliance with legislation, procurement policies and procedural requirements.To be successful you will have:• 5+ years category management, contract management and strategic sourcing experience;• Significant experience working on large enterprise technology contracts and sourcing activities would be highly desirable;• Supplier performance and stakeholder management experience;• Commercial and contract negotiation skills;• Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to have positive influence on key stakeholders;• Well-developed business writing and verbal communication skills;• Ability to work autonomously, managing own priorities and meet agreed timelines; and• Tertiary qualifications with experience either in Commerce, Strategic procurement, ICT or Legal fields would be considered highly desirable.You do not need to match every listed expectation to apply for this position.
