We are currently seeking ANZ Procurement Specialistto join our Procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for procurement of Packaging materials (consumer facing and product related) and Print Services for KCA and manage both, services and materials within Australia and New Zealand - with a total spend under control of circa $250-$350 million.

The role would suit an individual with technical knowledge and experience in the procurement of packaging materials (film, carton, corrugates etc) and an exposure to managing 3rd Party providers involved in the production of and co-packing of consumer products. The role reports into the ANZ Procurement Leader.

This is a great opportunity for someone that is currently within a similar capacity role and is seeking the opportunity to learn, grow and develop their career within a multinational organisation. You will work with team members and stakeholders to develop and implement a pipeline of opportunities with the goal of achieving cost savings, improvement in supplier payment terms and improve quality of service delivery.

Ensure that KCA category strategies are developed that are aligned with regional procurement as well as meeting the needs of local KCA business stakeholders. These strategies should address elements of delivering on cost, quality and service for KCA as well as address the area of risk assessment and mitigation.

The role requires developing strong and influential relationship with internal stakeholders in country, especially with the country Marketing teams and local suppliers by translating business requirements into procurement strategy which provide quantitative and qualitive value.

About You

You are a university graduate with a degree in supply chain, or a related area, and have at least 5 years+ of Procurement experience, preferably with FMCG Packaging expertise.   • To be successful in this role, you will bring forward demonstrated experience in a direct procurement role within either a global or sizeable organisation

  • Experience with external contract manufacturers/3rd Party Manufacturing will be advantageous

  • You hold effective communication, both written and verbal skills and be highly confident in engaging in discussions with senior leaderships.
