About the Role

This role will see you responsible for pitching and producing interview and segment ideas for RN’s flagship Saturday Extra program, to help craft an entertaining and informative weekend show with a focus on expanding audiences and reach new communities.

You'll manage the commissioning, recording and broadcasting schedule, to ensure a consistent pipeline of high-quality content to fill the weekly schedule.

About You

You have an excellent news sense, with a highly advanced ability to produce sophisticated and comprehensive briefs on complex topics, from politics to economics, to cultural news and events. 

You're a great communicator, with expertise in live studio directing, and experience with managing multiple program stakeholders, including presenter, guests, and technical staff.

You cope well under pressure, with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
