AddressMars Food, Wyong, is looking for a talented student or recent graduate to join their team on a 6 month contract. This role will operate within the PPPI team, and consult with team members on their respective areas. You will also be working closely with operations to understand how best to implement recipe automation. You will also need to work with operations to understand how manual cleaning processes work, and seek feedback on updates to cleaning procedures.
You will also need to work with the quality team to ensure quality standards are met.
This contract will have two main projects to complete.
- Rationalise and standardize process cleaning program
- Design and implement recipe changes to allow for increased automation in the plant.
Cleaning
- Review all cleaning stations in the factory, and create naming standard
- Harmonise naming standards across all operational and quality management systems
- Create new documentation standard for automatic and manual cleaning processes, and consolidate all documentation to new standard
- Implement and validate new CIP controls
- Develop cleaning process guidelines to allow for easy development of new cleaning processes when new processes are developed.
Automation
- Work with operations team to understand current manual processes
- Implement recipes in to SAP system
- Develop new recipes to support automation, and validate their performance
Other
- Provide regular updates on progress on activities
- Ensure documentation is in line with site standards.
To be considered for this role, you will have the following:
- Chemical Engineering/Process Engineering/Food Technology Degree or equivalent & practical knowledge of Food Science and Chemistry
- Process Engineering capability
- Technical analysis

- Ability to work Independently.

- High level Microsoft Excel skills
