Your Role

Big River Group is seeking a highly analytical and detail-focused Product Inventory Data Analyst to undertake a critical project aimed at overhauling and enhancing our Product Inventory Data. The successful candidates will be responsible for the meticulous review, cleansing, and standardization of product information within our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of industry-specific knowledge to effectively discern and categorize a comprehensive range of building and construction products.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed analysis and cleansing of product data within Excel, ensuring high levels of accuracy and consistency.
  • Diligently compare and reconcile supplier data with our internal database, utilizing advanced Excel functions.
  • Add supplier codes and standardize product descriptions across a vast inventory.
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain and verify product data, which may involve navigating supplier online portals or direct communication.
  • Integrate supplier data into our master Excel sheets for review.
  • Collaborate with the inventory specialist for the review and bulk upload of cleansed data.
  • Manage a significant volume of product data entries, requiring sustained focus and attention to detail.

Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis and management, particularly within the building and construction industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Product Inventory Management systems and processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with an exceptional eye for detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently on complex data tasks.
  • Background or knowledge in the building and construction industry is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Capacity to maintain concentration and precision during repetitive data entry tasks over extended periods.
