The Division
The Greater Sydney Division is redefining integrated transport choices to improve the lives of customers and communities, making Greater Sydney a better place to live, work and play. We have the single biggest place making opportunity at Transport in the coming years, reshaping Greater Sydney into a metropolis of three cities – Eastern Harbour City, Central River City and Western Parklands City - whilst also overseeing the Greater Sydney region as a whole.
The opportunity
Right now, we have an exciting Permanent Part-Time opportunity for a Product Services Officer to join us at our Port Kembla office by providing high quality customer service in the delivery of maritime related products and services. including applications for and management of moorings, processing applications and issuing of aquatic licences, boat-code management, processing of penalty notices and formal warnings, and on-going support to Service NSW for boat driver licence and vessel registration transactions and other activities as required.
- Providing high quality customer service to internal and external customers (including Service NSW) ensuring best practice in customer service and consistent product support.
- Supporting state-wide operational staff in the administration of mooring licences and aquatic events.
- Processing payments and banking accurately and efficiently in line with the RMS Office Cash Procedures.
- Maintaining a current working knowledge of specialised Maritime Division products and services and providing mentoring and training support to team members.

This role is a 3 day working week and is flexible to discuss what days will suit you.

We’re looking for a great communicator who will genuinely connect with and communicate effectively with our valued Maritime customers either over the phone, or via emails and letters. You will be able to prioritise and manage your workload independently while maintaining attention to detail.

Salary and Benefits
The full-time salary for this position commences at Maritime Officer 3 ($69,890) with structured salary increases in line with training plan, plus superannuation.
