We are a growing boutique medical device company specialising in specific areas of healthcare providing high end products used in the operating theatre, urology, critical care setting and endoscopy suite. Due to our growth we require an experienced specialist based in Sydney to help drive sales across Australia. Travel to major cities in other states will be necessary on an as required basis. The successful candidate will be expected to be spending considerable time in hospitals speaking with clinicians, providing education, and attending operating theatres.
An experienced Anaesthetic/ICU health professional wishing to get into a sales role should consider applying as clinical knowledge would be well regarded. Sales experience in airway management/ endoscopy is desirable but not essential.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity.

ROLE/DESCRIPTION
Outstanding opportunity for an experienced healthcare professional wishing to move to a sales role or medical sales representative wishing to join an exciting medical device company. Due to exceptional growth, we require support expanding the business.
We require a professional with exposure to Airway Management, urology and/or Endoscopy. Healthcare professionals such as a nurse experienced in the relevant areas should consider applying as clinical experience will be highly regarded for the role.
The ideal candidate will be a high-achieving motivated self-starter who has previous experience, strong drive, utmost integrity and the ability to hunt for new business using existing contacts and expertise. The most suitable candidate will be comfortable dealing with, Intensivists, Anaesthetists and Respiratory Physicians.
We require a high performer and has the motivation to develop business. Strong negotiation skills and a positive outlook are extremely important.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of two (2) years as a Medical Device sales rep preferred but not essential
- Previous experience in Airway Management, urology and/or endoscopy
- Motivated with the desire to succeed and a can-do attitude
- Experience in ICU, Anaesthetics or endoscopy highly desirable
- Exceptional communication and problem solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or similar desirable
