Form of workThis is a highly rewarding and challenging role for an entry level Drafting Cadet to join our busy Drafting team, located in the Metricon Robina Office on the Gold Coast.
Reporting to the Drafting Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:
- Producing design drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
- Assist in the creation of drawings and incorporate design amendments
- Ensure all drawings are completed with 100% accuracy
- Assume responsibility and timely action of Design Administration procedures
- Complete drawings to Metricon’s standards and drafting procedures
- Adhere to demanding timelines
- Provide innovative design solutions

- Unequivocal attention to detail;
- A positive team-focussed attitude and desire to learn
- Experience using AutoCAD and Revit is essential;
- Completed a tertiary qualification in Building Design and Drafting, Architectural Degree or equivalent;
- The ability to work under pressure within a fast paced team environment; and
- Work experience within the residential building industry would be an advantage.
This role requires a national police check to be undertaken.
