Thomas Foods International Stawell is one of the largest employers in the Victoria Northern Grampians region and operates a modern meat processing plant in the town of Stawell.
We are currently seeking an dedicated Production Floor Manager to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering superior service to our clients.
About the opportunity
As a Production Floor Manager, you will report to the production manager and play an important role of production management; ensuring that all processes are followed in accordance with the company policies, strategies, and quality requirements. You will be directing team members including production supervisors to meet production goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with employees and supervisors to ensure that allocated tasks are completed in safe manner.
- Control operation costs.
- Ensure production targets are maintained.
- Manage workforce in conjunction with HR department.
- Prepare daily production reports to stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous management experience in production or manufacturing, preferably meat or food processing.
- Computer literacy / IT skills.
- Investigative skills.
- Great interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
